Autovehicule Euro 5, Euro 4 sau Euro 3
Suma de plata = [(A x B x(100 – C)]/100, unde:
A = valoarea combinata a emisiilor de CO2, exprimata in grame/km mentionate in Cartea de Identitate a Vehiculului;
B = valoarea timbrului de mediu pentru emisiile poluante, exprimata in Euro/1 gram CO2, prevazuta in anexa nr. 1;
C = cota de reducere a timbrului prevazuta in coloana nr 2 din Anexa nr 2.
Autovechicule non-Euro, Euro 1 sau Euro 2 si pentru care nu este specificata valoarea combinata a emisiilor de CO2:
Suma de plata = [E x D x (100 -C)]/100,
unde:
C = cota de reducere a timbrului prevazuta in coloana nr 2 din Anexa nr 2;
D = cilindreea – capacitatea cilindrica;
E = timbrul de mediu, prevazut in coloana nr. 3 din anexa nr. 3;
Atentie! A doua formula se aplica si pentru autovehiculele din categoria M1 carora le corespund normele de poluare Euro 3, Euro 4, Euro 5 sau Euro 6 care nu detin omologare europeana de tip si pentru care nu este specificata valoarea combinata a emisiilor de C02.
Exact ca in cazul taxei auto, suma de plata se calculeaza in euro, dar va fi platita in lei, pe baza cursului de schimb valutar stabilit in prima zi lucratoare a lunii octombrie din anul precedent si publicat in Jurnalul Oficial al Uniunii Europene. In 2013, cursul de schimb valutar utilizat este de 4,5223 lei/euro.
